Abstract

Communication is important for the survival of the entire society. In business organizations, we can notice formal and informal, as well as verbal and non-verbal communication. The formal one has its own flows and methodology, while informal has completely separate channels and methodology. Although formal communication is a precondition for the success and survival of a business organization, the role of informal communication is indisputable regarding the maintenance of a good organizational climate and conflict management. Paper deals exactly with such, informal communication and its role in combating conflicts, and its role in conflict management if it comes to a conflict situation. This defines the scope of the research. The subject of research is also based on analysis of the role of informal communication in resolving conflicts in the company „Srbija Kargo” a.d.
